What is a Virtual Assistant?
… and how can one help me?
A virtual assistant, or VA, is an individual or business offering out-based office and secretarial services. A virtual assistant usually works remotely from their customers, liaising generally by email and phone and for this reason does not need to be local to their customers. Outsourcing to a virtual assistant has a number of benefits:
- Experienced assistance without the need for recruitment;
- No extra employee overheads such as tax or holiday pay;
- You only pay for the work you need, when you need it;
- Less time spent on routine and administrative tasks frees up more time to be spent on the core business.
